The Three Cities - Vittoriosa, Cospicua and Senglea - are waiting to be discovered by you. A drive past Cospicus will bring us to Vittoriosa where we walk through the various narrow streets shaded by many historic buildings and churches. From the old quay, we take a typical harbour "fregatina" for a tour of the famous harbour creeks. In Sengles, we have a look from the beautiful "vedette" placed in the centre of the Grand Harbor.

These cites were home to the first knights of medieval times. Although small in size, the Maltese Islands are amazingly full of interesting sights. Come along and enjoy the history and beauty of the area.

About the Cities

Vittoriosa - is still rich in history despite the damage suffered in the bombing of World War Two. It's a small city in Malta that played a vital role in the Siege of Malta in 1565 and also one of the oldest of the 'Three Cities' adjacent to the Grand Harbour in Malta.

Cospicua - is a double-fortified harbour city on the Mediterranean island of Malta. It is the largest of the Three Cities. The city was renamed by the Knights of St John because of the brave, conspicuous, role played by its people during the Great Siege of 1565.

Senglea - is a fortified city in the east of Malta, mainly in the Grand Harbour area. It is the smallest of the Three Cities. The city of Senglea is also called Citta Invicta, because it managed to resist the Ottoman invasion at the Great Siege of 1565.
